Where Does My Website Rank?

Most digital marketers will always want to know, where does my website rank? Follow these steps in Google Search Console to find where your site ranks and the keywords your site is ranking for.

Step 1: Log into Google Search Console

Step 2: Click on the Performance tab from the left sidebar menu

Step 3: Click in Search Results (you will see a line graph with four metrics: clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position)

Step 4: Click on Average position

The average position is the spot where your page ranks in Google’s search results. Positions 1-10 are on page 1 of the search results, positions 11-20 are on page 2, and so on. Of course your ultimate goal is to land on the first page and rank in the top 10 positions (preferably #1 or #2).
